93.1 WXRT Local Anesthetic - Along the Drive

Local Anesthetic Transcript 4/26/2015
Richard Milne (DJ): This is Along the Drive and I will be up front and I will tell you something, that this is a little more manufactured, a little more exact, pristine, of a recording, than I actually prefer to play ever on Local Anesthetic. But, the song itself is super catchy. Recorded by Jim Peterik of the Ides of March [correction: actually recorded by Dustin Weinberger and Larry Millas, mostly recorded at Dustin's home studio with mixing/mastering at Jim's World Stage Studios]. You can tell that these guys put a lot of time and perhaps a lot of money into the actual creation of this. It’s product as they say, and nothing wrong with that… just typically not something that I would play on Local Anesthetic out of Chicago. But, interestingly enough it harkens back sound wise to like the late 1970s when you had music coming out from people like Bram Tchaikovsky or if you remember The Records, bands like that. Time-Lapse is the name of the recording from this group Along the Drive. Let’s hear this tune right now. I like it a lot. It’s called “Everlasting Fire.” It is new Chicago music from Along the Drive on Local Anesthetic.
